Organizing Pictures Using EXIF

I was recently approached by a colleague of mine with a question:

"Is there an easy way to move a bunch of pictures into a structure that is organized based on when I took the picture?"

A quick scan of Google didn't turn up anything so I decided I would tackle this problem and see if I could figure it out.  The end result is a little tool released by themindsetgroup.com called EXIF FileMover. The tool is a command line utility coded in vb.net and while I make no promises of its functionality, it is free and was a fun project to work on.

Thank you for the excellent article 。 My husband and I were very impressed with all the issues that she addressed. iPhone 4 Zoom Lens
They will be a big help to us, not to mention to the many families that are now and in the years ahead that will be caring for their parents and/or aging family members! Great job, Kathryn! It's a "keeper"!
Most Sincerely, Mr & Mrs Kloth
