Have you seen these little things called PogoPlug devices? They are these little gadgets that allow you to hook up USB (or SD) storage volumes to the public Internet. There is software for most every flavor of operating environment, including all of the mobile options, that allows remote access to a bunch of "personal cloud" based storage. Their software even allows you to map drives to any one of your connected machines and access the defined shares points as if they were local a part of your local file system - neat right?
